About the Role:

As a Sales Compensation Junior Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth administration of commission processes for sales and GTM teams across regions. This includes accurate plan management, timely payouts, compliance with company guidelines, and ongoing improvements in compensation operations. You will collaborate closely with Sales Operations, Finance, HR, and Business Intelligence teams to maintain transparency and efficiency in sales compensation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Processing & Plan Administration:

  • Calculate and process monthly/quarterly commission payouts as per plan guidelines.
  • Manage sales compensation tools (e.g., Spiff, Xactly, or similar).
  • Validate eligibility, draw recoveries, clawbacks, and SPIFFs.
  • Update data related to sales structures, territories, and quotas.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with Sales Ops, Finance, HR, and BI teams to align data inputs.
  • Respond to compensation queries from sales teams and leadership.
  • Document and communicate plan rules and payout updates.

Compliance, Analysis & Reporting:

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation of compensation processes.
  • Prepare reports to track plan effectiveness and performance trends.
  • Support simulations and modeling for new plan designs.

Operational Improvements:

  • Identify automation opportunities in compensation processes.
  • Assist in system updates, testing, and process enhancements.

Key Technical Skills:

Sales Compensation, Commission Processing, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas), Spiff, Xactly, Anaplan, Data Analysis, Reporting, Sales Operations, Finance Operations, Compliance Documentation, Process Automation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales compensation or related roles.
  • Proficiency in Excel and compensation platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Integrity in handling confidential data.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
